Glamorous Photos And Moments From Butterscotch Evenings

Lagos socialites were anticipating the Butterscotch evenings and here are the glamorous photos and moments from the event which held at the Eko hotel and suites.
Guests came into the cocktail area at 9PM and the first thrill of the night was watching Italian celebrity chef Aldo Zilli live as he made a five course meal and then there was Bill Bellamy from Hollywood and Yvonne Vixen Ekwere stepping on stage to welcome the guests.
Aldo Zilli came in to present his menu for the evening but not before RnB crooner Praiz had stepped on stage to impress the audience.
Bill Bellamy came back on stage introducing Europe’s queen of burlesque Immodesty Blaize who unveiled UK lingerie line “Undressed” with a line up of models.
This happened before Johnny Gill finally came on stage thrilling the audience with renditions from his old and new albums.

2Face Idibia is set to release a collaboration with T.Pain.

The African queen crooner who has been touring some Nigerian universities recently hooked up with the former Konvict music singer T.pain for the remix of “My Rainbow“, the first song on his Away and Beyond album.
Though not released yet, the song is available for listen as caller tune on one of the popular Nigerian mobile network providers.

When it was said that Nollywood bad boy Jim Iyke was dating Ghanian actress Nadia Buhari just after breaking up with his Jamaican girlfriend, I ignored the gist thinking its yet another rumour.

Not until Jim Iyke and Nadia Buhari recently took to Twitter confirming to the world that they’re dating. Nadia calls Jim Skittles while he calls her space. It all seems scripted to me though.

Eminem Sues Facebook For Copyright Infringement

U.S rapper Marshall Matters popularly known as Eminem has sued the biggest social network Facebook for copyright infringement.
Eminem’s music company Eight mile style LLC filed a lawsuit in the rapper’s hometown of Detroit, saying Facebook alongside Wieden + Kennedy, an advertising agency used his musical work “Under the influence“.

Eminem claims the song was used in a 30 second webcast advert named Airplane by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to announce Facebook home, an application on the android platform.
Insiders say the song was used to please Mark Zuckerberg who is a big Eminem fan Eminem’s lawyers say the song was later changed before the advert was placed on Youtube and on TV, meaning Facebook is aware it had infringed on the rapper’s rights. They’re demanding the sum of $150,000 (£100,000) from Facebook.

FB lawyers have however reacted by saying U”Under the influence” which was released on the Dr Dre produced’The Marshall Mathers LP’ in the year 2000, sounds like a Michael Jackson song, which makes it exempt from copyright infringement.

One Of The Woolwich Killers Is Nigerian

After much speculation about the identity of the Woolwich killers, it has now been confirmed that one of the attackers is a Nigerian by name Michael Muhajud Adebolajo.
Recall that news went viral on TV channels and social media yesterday that a man was hacked to death in Woolwich, South London by two unidentified black men in what is believed to be an Islamist terror attack.

The victim, a serving soldier was beheaded by the two men in broad daylight much to the horror and terror of eyewitnesses. He was later identified as Lee Rigby by the US ministry of defense. One of the perpetrators of the crime spoke into the camera of some eyewitnesses who were bold enough to record the horrific scene.
He said: “I apologize that women had to witness this today, but in our land our women have to see the same. You people will never be safe. Remove your government, they don’t care about you.”

He did this and walked back to his partner in crime standing by the corpse of the victim which lay in the middle of the road.

It is claimed that the men shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’, which means God is great in Arabic before attacking the soldier. The men then waited for about 20 minutes after the attack for police to show up. They then tried to attack the officers who shot them. One of them is believed to still be alive.

This incident has put Nigeria back on the terrorism list of foreign countries.
The perpetrator Michael is the son of a 56-year old trained male nurse by the name of Anthony Adebolajo.

Just when Nigeria is trying to recover from the shock of the terrorism attempt on an international Airline by Abdulmutallab. Indeed this has shocked the nation and indeed the entire world.

Sources today named one of the suspects as Michael Adebolajo (pictured above) who,
along with his fellow alleged killer, is a British citizen who converted to a radical form of Islam. They are not thought to have links to terror groups based in Nigeria, such as the jihadist militant organisation Boko Haram. The Foreign Office warns of a high threat from terrorism in the West African nation and raises the prospect of a risk of retaliatory attacks following the French intervention in Mali.
